After a Student Accommodation has been signed for then within two weeks the tenant is required to provide and submit the following: Post dated cheque for the summer retainer of £175.00 to secure the student accommodation.
Post dated cheques for the term of the tenancy for the student accommodation Student contracts are for a full 52 weeks made up of 48 weeks full rent and 4 weeks at £175.00 per tenant as a Summer Retainer. The retainer is to secure the property during August which is when the landlord carries out maintenance and cleaning works to make ready for new occupation for September.
Completed guarantor forms which the guarantor agrees to cover the cost of the rent should the tenant be unable to cover the rent for any reason.
